Yesterday we showed you the first part of the Central Saint Martins Press Show 2012. Here is the second part of the creativity explosion, enjoy! (click here for backstage photos and here for Press Show 2011)
Last week we shared with you our impressions from the internal fashion show at Central Saint Martins. We were very impressed by this year's graduates, so we were really looking forward to the Press Show to see the best of the best. Girls and boys, let us tell you something: If you want to study Fashion Design, Central Saint Martins is the place to be! As always we were blown away by all the creativity and all the hard and detailed work that we saw on the catwalk. Congratulations to all graduates for this amazing show, it makes us very proud to be a part of CSM and of course we are very excited about Sabinna's graduation! Enough talking, its time to show you the pictures. This is just the first part, make sure to come back tomorrow to check out the second part. Today was the internal show of all BA Fashion Design final year students. We were backstage updating you constatly on our facebook page. Did you miss it? Then click here. Of course we didn't only use phones to capture our favourite looks, but also brought a proper camera. Which designs are your favourites?
It has been a while since we updated our special THE FUTURE OF FASHION. For those who joined us recently, here an update what the special is about: We present designs by current students from Central Saint Martins. Previously we showed you designs by Tru Kim and Pia Jacqueline Chandra. This time we present you Graham Fan, a final year 'BA Fashion Design and Marketing' student. His graduation collection is inspired by his muse Marchesa Casati. What we love most about his collection are the unique fabrics he has chosen and that you feel extremly glamorous wearing his clothes. We are pretty sure that Graham is going to have an amazing future in the fashion world and we can't wait to see his next projects after his graduation from CSM.
Sabinna is wearing a top, a leather jacket, shoes and a Swarovski cape designed by Graham Fan.
Lately it was raining so so much in London that we completely forgot how sunlight looks like! But now we finally got spring weather back and there was no way we would miss that. So we went to see the Yayoi Kusama exhibition at Tate Modern. It is an absolutely fantastic selection of art work by a fantastic artist. Everyone who is in London between now and the 5th of June should check it out, we promise you will love it!
Are you having a bad-hair-day and don't know what to do? Well, you could definitely make use of the usual things like hats for example ... oooor you put your tights on your head! Wanna know how this works? Then check out these photos David that took of Sabinna wearing her tights formed to a bun. How do you like it?
These photos were taken quite a while ago, but somehow we forgot to share them with you. That day we were very excited about the wrapping paper we bought. As you can see super cute and awesome robots are walking down the paper, so we decided to give them a queen. Well, guess who turned out to be the perfect choice? Of course Sabinna! A bit unusual without her bun and with blonde short hair, but still with a big heart for robots.
We guess you know by now that our camera collection is huuuuge and that we especially love to fill it with analogue cameras. On our blog we already showed you photos taken with our Mini Diana, our La Sardina, our Fujifilm Instax Mini 55 and even single use cameras. Today we share with you shots taken with our absolute favourite, a camera that has a special place in our hearts: Minox 35GT. It's not only the smallest 35mm camera in the world but also the most awesome one!
